Level 1 · Roots · ReportingThe problem

Monday's report is rebuilt by hand. It's old by Tuesday. The report builds itself before the ovens are hot.

La Aurora bakes for three stores in Santurce, Hato Rey and Carolina. Every Monday, the manager loses the morning copying the POS exports, the inventory sheet and supplier invoices into one spreadsheet. By the time it's ready, the week has moved on, and nobody knows why the quesitos run out.

The fix: connect the POS, the inventory sheet and supplier invoices once. The report refreshes itself every morning and points at what to bake more of.

What our team built

  1. Connected the sources

POS sales, the inventory sheet and supplier invoices flow in on their own. Read-only, nothing to replace.

  2. Defined the numbers once

Sales, waste and margin mean the same thing in all three stores.

  3. Built the morning report

It refreshes before 6 AM and flags what will sell out, so the bakers know what to make.
